We wish to inform you of some important changes taking place at Alnorthumbria Veterinary Group – Amble.
Over the last few years, due to the rise in pet ownership and the increasing demand for veterinary services, it has been challenging to provide the best urgent and emergency vet cover for our clients at our Amble branch.
It is therefore with regret that we have had to make the difficult decision to close Amble permanently as at 1.00pm on Friday 28th April 2023. We apologise for the short notice and any inconvenience caused.
What this means for you
We appreciate that many of our clients will be disappointed after many years of service at Amble. We confirm that all accounts with your pet clinical histories are held within the secure Alnorthumbria database, accessible by the teams at any of our Alnorthumbria sites. This enables the team to continue to give care to your pets, without interruptions or delay, including care to those on long-term medication and with ongoing conditions
Initially, all records will be transferred to our site at Alnwick. Any clients wishing to transfer to an alternative Alnorthumbria branch, please contact Alnwick and they will be able to arrange this for you. Our teams at Alnwick and any of our other branches look forward to welcoming our Amble clients and their pets.
Healthy Pet Club
Membership of The Healthy Pet Club will automatically transfer to Alnwick together with details of client’s account. Clients can continue to enjoy their usual discounts and savings.
Please note: there will be a change in the Healthy Pet Club reference number, which will show as different on bank statements for the monthly direct debit. Clients with any concerns regarding their membership, or who would like to transfer it to a different Alnorthumbria branch, please contact hpc@cvsvets.com .
